Add a Trusted Person – your extra layer of security
Easily nominate a Trusted Person on your Banking App today to help review, confirm or decline payments initiated from your bank account. This may not only serve as fraud mitigation but also minimises human errors on certain transactions.
How it works
- A Trusted Person is an individual who is trusted by a customer and is required to confirm transactions meeting specific criteria i.e. high-value payments
- This adds an extra layer of security by confirming important transactions, helping to prevent fraudulent activities, and ensuring that high-value payments are confirmed by a reliable individual
- You can only have one Trusted Person at a time, and they have to be a Standard Bank customer who also uses the Banking App
